6. Troubleshooting
Communication Errors
The most common errors are due to loss or prevention of communications; these are
typicallycausedbyeitheranissuewhenrstinstallingtheterminaloran
outage on your network connection. Consider the following:
• Ensure the ethernet cable is securely attached into the correct port on the
underside of the terminal and into the correct port of your router or network. Also
check that the cable is not damaged.
• Ensure your network is working correctly. Can you access the Internet?
Do other IP devices work? If not, please contact your network provider.
• Haveanychangesrecentlybeenmadetothenetwork?e.g.rewallchangesor
security enhancements?
